Barebones Server Kits

Barebones server kits are a bit different from other types of barebones kits, like gaming, desktop, notebook or laptop kits. Though the server kits use similar components as the other types of barebones kits, there are some differences.

Generally, servers require special types of hardware to achieve performance demands. Rackmount cases are usually used for servers. They commonly use the Intel Xeon processor. The motherboard used in servers usually feature higher capacity for memory, as well as higher grade ethernet LAN controllers. These are all components used in other barebones kits, but barebones server kits use components that are higher than consumer grade.
